Young men in the 60's thought poetry was for girls. That was until Bob Dylan. He paved the way for many boys to dip their toes in the water of literature and definitely should be applauded for that. I love many of his works and had never heard this one IF DOGS RUN FREE. Thanks for sharing.

Literature I can see because he always had a knack for stringing together words that belonged together; singing, IMO, is another story. On the other hand, if Obama can win a Nobel prize for doing nothing, I guess anyone of us can win one, too.
