I just know that pettings help things along...I just know they do!

Boomer and Fuzzy, but really Boomer

My dog responds to food. You can call her anything you'd like as long as you give her a cookie while you're doing it.

Our beloved Dax, a German Shepherd, would do anything to hear the words "good girl." It didn't matter if there was food or petting involved, those words made her do anything in her ability to do.

We made sure that when her time came, she was surrounded by her human pack and those were the last words that she ever heard.

Yeah, this research was no surprise to me. I'd file it along with the study that found that the loved ones of the deceased get more out of the funeral than the corpse does.

Dennis the Vizsla

hello jan its dennis the vizsla dog hay did they also study treets??? becuz treets is the best thing of all!!! ha ha ok bye

You know..we found that petting even helps soothe the pain of dogs in case they are hurt. Dogs have their way of expressing affection!! They need to feel loved..and when they do..trust me..it's worth it!!

Dexter doesn't care if I pet him, call him good kitty or anything as long as he gets tuna.
