You can just see the wheels turning in Bellas mind as she tries to figure it out. No wonder the breed makes great police dogs.

I don't think it's mean at all. I can't speak for all dog breeds, but my dogs like to have something to do and it runs the gamut from rolling around in the dirt OR doing something that I task them to do. Clearly, I think they like a job.

I enjoyed watching they very smart dogs! They go for the fullest one, I see!

Honey love food toys. I wouldn't feed her any other way.

I'm going to have to pass this video onto my husband to start building this bottle thingy for her.

I loved the Istanbul idea. I also like the way it seems to be promoting compassion for these street dogs which is the first step to helping them more.

That's very cool - but Rita would sure hate it. I tried a food puzzle with her, and she mostly just stood there and glared at me. Although she did like to play with the parts of the puzzle!

Love the vending machine for the strays!

I think that is brilliant!!

Great ideas! I would love to make the bottle feeder for Gil, who gets bored, but he would just crush the bottles and drag the feeder away. lol

i like the plastics recycling idea!

thanks for this information about Sweden's latest study. it is really awesome thing, thanks for sharing with us.

I think that is a great invention! I hope Bentley doesn't ever find a dog food dispensing machine. He will hound me for plastic bottles! BOL ☺

Love the recycle/dog food and water machine. Now THAT is an awesome idea.

Great idea to make a dog work for snacks. We used a Buster Cube for that for one of my dogs. It twas suggested as a way to beat separation anxiety: give the dog something to do! That looks like a great do-it-yourself project.

cool and great idea all the way around.

There are times we feed Elka only from food toys, to occupy her and use some of her energy (y'know, like when it rains an entire summer...)

I'd try out the soda bottle thing, but there's also no telling what scares Miss Elka >.>

The Turkish soda bottle thing is awesome!

Cruel would be putting the food in the bottles and leaving the caps on. Food toys are brilliant for dogs, it helps keep their minds busy and helps them with problem solving. It's a win win if you ask me.

As for the vending machine, I love the idea. I would wonder though after a certain amount of times if dogs wouldn't get wise to it and start fighting for it?
