The Mexico City family of 7-year-old Sol adopted Morgan, an adorable floppy-eared puppy, back in May. Sol and Morgan were best friends when suddenly Morgan disappeared. They searched everywhere, but no Morgan.
That night Sol decided to make LOST DOG posters to hang around the neighborhood, hoping someone had seen him. The only problem was the family had no pictures of Morgan.
Sol was both creative and resourceful. She drew a picture of Morgan calling him her best friend. The family didn’t have much money but she offered as a reward chocolate which she bought with money she had saved.
The delightfully unique posters quickly wound up on the Internet where they were seen and shared by thousands of people.
Because of the attention Sol’s poster got, so many people in the community were looking for Morgan that they soon got the call they were waiting for. Someone had found the dog she thought might be Morgan.
When they got to the agreed meeting place, Morgan jumped from the woman’s arms and ran to Sol.
A very happy little girl gave a chocolate reward and took down the unusual but effective posters that had helped bring Morgan home.
