You're right. This is simple and brilliant.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. ☺

I've never heard of this problem before. It's news, not fake, to me.

Granny Annie

My house is almost totally carpeted but two areas do have slick tile. Slim, my older dog, doesn't have a problem maneuvering over them but Frankie, the young dog avoids those two areas like the plague. Now I know why.

I saw this product at BlogPaws and know of a sailor who uses it for her dog on board.

Dog toe nails are not made for the kind of surfaces we expect them to walk on. In a related matter, I saw some video of a golden retriever pulling herself out after falling through the ice.

Apparently the dew claws were an important part of the process.

Honey's breeders removed her dew claws so I guess I just have to avoid cold climates so I don't have to worry about her getting herself out of an ice hole. :)

cool..I shared this with my friend Kevin on facebook.

This would have been great for our miniature Schnauzer. He slipped on our wooden floor and refused to ever walk in that room again. (He had some major issues)

Foley Monster, Pocket and River Song

That is a great idea. We know lots of dogs with his problem. We are going to have to remember this. Plus we don't have many rugs and our legs slip out from under us. Thanks.

Excellent! I'm so glad there are people out there who can come up with the perfect idea, get it manufactured, and then on the market for US!

Yes, toe grip can be the best tool to help dogs walk properly and confidently over smooth surface. I bought those for my dog and it was great. My dog felt more confident walking on shiny surface.

I have a set for Sampson, I just haven't gotten around to using them. I'm going to have to dig them out.
