Gabby, a 9-week-old Maltese Chihuahua mix, was born without front paws, but she doesn't know she has a handicap.
Her owner, Flora Brock, looked into getting her a wheelchair, but the ones on the market were out of her price range. Then she got the idea of working with the engineering department of the local high school.
The students were up to the challenge. With another fitting Gabby will be able to keep up with the other dogs.
Gabby's owner is going to train Gabby to be an emotional support dog for patients in nursing homes.
