The Dallas Cowboys lost a heartbreaking playoff game to the Green Bay Packers earlier in the month. But wide receiver Dez Bryant used his first off season weekend well.
He and a couple of friends were at PetSmart and saw a table for Lost Paws Rescue of Texas. The animal shelter was trying to raise money to feed the shelter inhabitants, so Bryant purchased the entire table to help the cause.
He is just the latest Cowboy to get involved in helping animals. Running back Ezekiel Elliott held an adoption event in October helping nearly 50 animals find new homes.
(If they had been arrested it would have been all over the internet.)
