Airplane travel is stressful, especially during the holidays.
LiLou is the newest member of the airport’s Wag Brigade, therapy animals trained to cheer up airport visitors. Most of the current brigade members are dogs. LiLou is the first pig.
LiLou is known for her stylish outfits and painted nails, but she's not just a pretty face, she’s also a performer. She can be quite a ham (literally) as she stands on her back hooves, waves with her snout and plays a toy piano.
With other members of the Wag Brigade, she hangs around the airport terminals with a sign that says “Pet Me!”
She is also a regular visitor to senior centers and hospitals in the San Francisco area.
