The April Golden Poodle award goes to all the fire fighters, deputy sheriffs, animal control officer, volunteer search and rescuers, and veterinary clinic in New Jersey for rescuing a dirty shaggy little stray dog who had gotten stuck on a cliff and turning her into a charming Poodle who loves everyone.
What a wonderful world that has such people in it.
The Lizard Brain award is shared by a woman in New Jersey who brought a man that she met on a dating site to her home on the first date. He stole her TV and Yorkie, total value $7000.
The man she thought was “Joel” was 23-year-old Honey Ahmed. Even though he returned the TV and dog, he was identified by police from his picture on the dating site and charged with two counts of theft.
