After many legal delays the months long battle in Oregon over a Husky-Shepherd mix has ended.
College student Jordon Biggs pleaded guilty Friday to misdemeanor second-degree theft. Terms of her plea bargain include admitting in writing that Sam Hanson-Fleming is the owner.
Biggs found the dog in Portland on the day he jumped his backyard fence and took him to her home in a nearby city the same day. She kept him for 13-months until Hanson-Fleming happened to see the two of them in Portland.
In spite of losing two rulings against her, she refused to give up the dog and even hired a lawyer to file a civil lawsuit to keep him. Let’s hope she learned an expensive and humiliating lesson in morality.

Glad to hear the dog made it back to it's original owner. How awful to know where your dog is at, but then have to fight to get them.

There are so many dogs out there that need love and would delight in having her for a forever home...and this dog needs to be back with his forever home.
Silly and selfish I say.

that girl had some major sense of entitlement .... glad she learned the world doesn't revolve around her "I wants"

I can't believe this even had to go to court. Dumb girl, I hope she had to pay a HUGE fine.
