Missing dog posters on utility poles seem to be a thing of the past in Ireland now that Twitter is here.
Patch, a Jack Russell Terrier, boarded a commuter train to go on a doggie adventure and made a lot of friends on board. Workers and commuters tweeted that they had found a dog and posted his picture.
Just 32 minutes later Patch’s owner, Deirdre Anglin responded, “That’s my dog.”
Anglin picked him up from the train station and brought him home. Patch will forever be known worldwide as “the dog from Twitter.”

Twitter is like having a picture on every telephone pole in town! Very cool.

Social media has some good points. I guess it's not just for knowing when someone's on the potty.

That's funny. Anything that helps unite lost pet and owner is good. Hooray for whoever posted the dog to Twitter.

I want to know the rest of the story. How did the pup end up on the train?

Social Media has been very useful in the objectives of many agencies and of many people in the globe. There are things that only the social media has helped.
