Crossing the street is a lot more fun for students in Greenwich, New York where Cliff Mealy and his dog Sophy work as school crossing guards.
Mealy, 62, a professional photographer, and Sophy, 6, also work on the North Country Search and Rescue Team.
The two get a lot of attention during their working hours. According to Mealy,
Everybody waves and luckily nobody beeps. The kids and other pedestrians really love her. They've taken to her immensely. And her wagging tail puts off all fears of a big black dog.

It’s great! It seems like they are having a great time and I’m sure the kids love them too.
