Is this the better pooper-scooper the world is waiting for?

 Coming soon -- the AshPooPie pooper scooper

It not only scoops the poop, but a combination of paddles and blades and a replaceable cartridge turns the poop into a sterile odorless ash.

Created by Oded Shoseyov of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

But you will have to wait until February when it will be unveiled at the GlobalPet Expo in Orlando, Florida.

Nothing is said about the price. For the gadget junkie or the poopaphobic though, money is no object.

It may be, like computer printers, the AshPooPie will be relatively cheap, but the replaceable cartidges that make it work will be relatively expensive.

I can see using this in a yard, but carrying it around to the dog park or city streets looks a little more cumbersome than plastic bags. Not to mention the crowd gathering around you urging your dog to poop again so they could see the AshPooPie in action...

I don't see why they didn't just invent a vacuum that could be put up a dog's butt so you don't even get feces stains on the grass. :)
