Charging the mound is great. It makes the pitcher think twice before trying to hit a batter twice his size. Good for Ortiz.

Jet

I can't watch baseball, it's even more boring than cricket! :P

Linda

Charging the mound is really needed in this very boring game. Good for Ortiz!

There are so many wonderful professional athletes who not only adore their dogs but are voices for these amazing animals. Mark Buerhle, who is the starting pitcher for the White Socks and the 18th pitcher in history to pitch a perfect game is a HUGE supporter of dog issues as well as David Backes, the captain of the St. Louis Blues who works tirelessly to help dogs in puppy mills and supports rescues. Big men with big hearts !!! You've got to love them !!!

Jan

You are so right and sadly the sociopath athlete gets all the publicity.

Jen

I like to see a few bench clearing brawls too! It makes for an interesting game and I think I would be a little ticked off too if I almost got hit 3 times by a pitch!!

jackie

Calypso Bay

I love men with little dogs. So hot.
