July’s Golden Poodle award goes to the now world famous media star Paco the Chihuahua who chased the armed robbers out of his owner’s store in Altadena, California.
Paco, a 10-pound rescue dog, is a well behaved little Chihuahua (as opposed to some who have been ruined by stupid humans). Before this day he stayed in his owner’s store watching customers come and go. When things got dull, he would stroll around visiting neighboring businesses where he was always welcome.
But when danger struck it was duck in a phone booth, say “Shazam” and to the bat cave, Robin.
The Neanderthal award goes to all the lawmakers who wrote or supported Breed Specific Legislation. It has resulted in countless dead dogs and broken hearts, while solving nothing.
The Lizard Brain award goes to Andrew Seth Carawan who broke off the paws of the Greensboro Grasshoppers’ dog mascot statue and ran off with the rest of the dog. Not much street value in a maimed statue, is there, Andrew? You still have to face felony charges.
A second Lizard Brain award goes to Nike for various marketing decisions.

WELL SAID! Sometimes I wish we could just do away with government...they just are plain stupid people.
