No matter how hard it is you can never give up hope

How I love the way the Japanese are handling the never-ending crises in their country. To have spent so many man-hours, a chopper and a boat in the rescue of one half starved dog while so many humans are devastated, missing and still in need... is a story that makes a pessimist like me have hope again :) It would have been so easy for them to just fly away. I must have been hiding under a rock...this is the first time I've heard of this story. Three weeks at sea?! Amazing.
