When do ski lifts stop running?

 1. When there is not enough snow for skiing.

2. When the snow level reaches the height
of the ski lift.

Skiing stopped when the snow level reached the height of the ski lift at Alpine Meadows.

More than 50 feet of snow global warming climate change has hit some California ski resorts this winter.

Wow. We've seen that before (in photos), but are really glad that it doesn't happen here! :-) (We've got plenty of snow, and we can still get on the chairlifts!)
