Liu Naiying, a farmer in China (yes, that China), believes he has found a different kind of sheepdog on his farm, a hybrid of sheep and dog. According to the Daily Mail, he found the strange baby shortly after it was born.
I was herding the sheep, and saw a sheep licking her newborn lamb on the grassland. The lamb was still wet. When I went up close to check on the lamb I was shocked because it looked so weird, like a cross between a sheep and a dog. I was a bit frightened, as I've been raising sheep for 20 years and had never seen such a creature.
The baby has wool like a lamb, but the paws, tail, mouth, eyes, and nose look like a puppy. Thousands of people have been flocking to the farm to see the supposed puppy-lamb.
However, Yue Guozhang, a scientist at an animal husbandry technology center, said that is not possible for a dog to impregnate a sheep since they are different species. He believes it is just an abnormal lamb.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't see much resemblance to the mother. It looks like a cute mixed breed puppy to me rather than a mutant lamb, but who am I to argue with China which (have I mentioned lately?) censors my blog?

I'm thinking that's a dog.
I've heard that I am censored in Saudi Arabia. And at my mother's house. But those are just rumors.

This sheep-dog intrigues me. But what I'm really interested in now is finding out why your blog is censored in China. Do tell :)

When I first started the blog I had readers in China and I had fun emailing people who had dogs and were interested in learning more about dogs in America. Then suddenly my map of world readers from Stat Counter showed no one from China.
This is a post where I first discovered my blog was not allowed through to China. The link is now inactive probably because China doesn't allow much to get through from the western world to its citizens.
Is your blog censored in China?
