A church built a manger scene on the lawn. Not long afterward a wandering little dog found this an inviting place for a nap.

That is cute. I do wonder, if it is really true, what that beautiful dog was doing "wandering"? I too hope the pup has now found a home with people who love him or her.

What a sweet photo, and I, too, hope the dog found a good home. I can't imagine taking that photo and not helping the dog. Yes, baby dolls are creepy in Manger scenes, but you can't very well put a live baby in one, now can you.
We do have Living Nativity Scenes in our area, because Christmas is usually fairly warm, but even then someone is holding the Baby Jesus.
I hope you had a wonderful and Blessed Christmas!

I agree with Jayne, that doll sure does have creepy eyes. Dog with no collar. That annoys me, hope he found his way home to his family.
