It seems I write like someone named David Foster Wallace. Now that they've proven how bad a writer he is, I will never check out his work.

At least it wasn't Bulwar-Lytton.

I think it's broken, it says I write like James Joyce.

I was David Foster Wallace;
Mom was Isaac Asimov

My last three posts were...

David Foster Wallace
Cory Doctorow

The only one of these I've actually read is Lovecraft. I'll consider it a compliment. :)

I'll have to check that out..cool..

one said I tried to write like Chuck Norris(hahahahah) and one said I write like Cory Doctorow(??) and one said I write like stephen king...great im a nut case.

I only tried three paragraphs...it said I write like Charles Dickens!!! Heh!

Dennis the Vizsla

I got Mario Puzo for a "Dragon Stones" excerpt and Cory Doctorow for a "The Wolf" excerpt. Although I have to say when I was shopping books around to actual humans the only writer I was ever compared to is Clive Barker.

My husband came across this "test" the other day. He pasted in some of my blog writing, and came up with James Joyce for me. I have no idea how right that might be as I've never read Joyce...

Anne Gibert

I got Nabokov and David Foster Wallace and another one I had never heard of. I think this guy needs to expand his list of authors. I heard him talking about his site on NPR.

Cory Doctorow. What does it say about me that I've never even heard of this author?

Life With Dogs

Doctorow and Dickens - at least I recognize one of them!

Who proved David Foster Wallace was a bad writer? I thought "Infinite Jest" was a good read. It was laugh out loud funny at times and poignant at others.

It says I write like Stephan King! That proves it's gotta be phony-balony!

I don't write like others. I write like myself.
