A tiny pinto stallion, born last week in New Hampshire weighed only 6 pounds and was 14 inches long.
Best of all, the little guy named Einstein shows no signs of a birth defect, stunted bones or dwarfism, according to his owner Dr. Rachel Wagner. He seems to be just a tiny, healthy horse from miniature horse stock.
Minutes after delivery he stood, and as soon as he gained his balance began frolicking around the barnyard.
Previously the smallest horse ever born weighed 9 pounds. Wagner is in the process of contacting officials from the Guinness Book of Records to promote Einstein as the world’s smallest horse. Thumbelina currently holds the record.

I find this kind of disturbing. To qualify as a horse don't you have to be able to ride it?

Is this the smallest horse in the world? I read an article about a pinto stallion, a little animal that has a height of 35 cm.
