I know a lot of people have their dogs involved in weddings. More power to them... but really, even though I'm a complete animal lover, I find it too weird!! Comet and his sibs are pretty talented dogs though! :)

What a sweet story! That is awesome ! Friends of mine that married years ago used 2 of their ferrets as ring bearers - they were in tiny tuxes with litte pouches for the rings and on harness - walked up the isle (as best as a ferret on a leash will do! LOL !) And were with the bride and groom thru the entire wedding. Got in the wedding pics and everything. The minister wasn't sure at first but the little furballs won him over.

gee..the cat wasn't in the wedding?..yeah, like that's a big surprise..cute doggies and smarter than all 3 of the xhusbands

Jan, shame on you....we are friends and have discussed at great lengths the intelligence and cooperative spirit of cats.....OK the dogs are cute, but a cat in the wedding would have made the day perfect.

Jan

You have to admit that cats are independent. Training one to be a ring bearer or something might take years in itself. Apologies to all cat owners, but I can't imagine Taki behaving with decorum at a wedding though she might surprise me.

I hate weddings. I'd rather go to a funeral!

Sounds great that their pups were in the wedding. It would definitely make it more bearable for me!
