Poodles seem to have been born knowing how to walk on a leash, but Tudee, our Chihuahua-Linebacker mix doesn’t always walk with style and grace.
She has a little trouble mastering the concept of “heel” and sometimes pulls on the leash.
Tudee has given us a few scary moments when she has pulled her head out of the collar and leash and gone off to the races.
Solution: This sturdy harness is practical and stylish. (My dogs think it is important to be fashionable.)
The Marine harness is cleverly designed and meticulously crafted. The cotton fabric is lightly padded for comfort, printed with a tiny anchor motif and has an embroidered anchor and chain on the front.

I would like to see more small dogs wearing harnesses instead of collars. They have delicate necks and the collars can cause damage if they insist on pulling.

I feel so sorry for dogs or even cats that have neck collars so tight they dig into the skin.

Well, Tudee looks quite dashing in her new harness. My Sammy (the chihuahua mix) has the same fashion challenge - he can slip his head out of any collar that's fitted comfortably around his neck. He now wears a harness whenever he goes out.
