“Barkhitecture” features ten “whimsical, one-of-a-kind doghouses” spread across the estate grounds. The exhibit is described as an “interactive exhibit that encourages visitors—two legged and four—to touch, climb and explore.”
The ten doghouses were designed and built by architects and artists who competed for the opportunity to participate in the exhibition.
Above “An American Dog in Paris,” is a miniature Eiffel Tower. Right “American Gothic” inspired by Gothic revival houses built from 1840 to 1870.
One of the ten houses will be auctioned in August for a Throw Us a Bone benefit. It is expected to fetch (groan) a high price. More details and pictures of the Barkhitecture exhibit.
