TWO KNOBBY TIRES is a company that specializes in premium outdoor gear and apparel for the whole family, including the dog. Like us, they believe that dogs should go along on family outdoor adventures.
They have been nice enough to let me offer an LED dog toy set to the winner of any contest my fruitful mind comes up with.
The set includes a flying disc, a dog ball and a carabiner light.
These toys are fun for the whole family. Uses include boating, camping, an evening walk, playing in the yard, and playing at the local park. The dog discuit LED flying disc and meteorlight LED dog ball are fun for both dogs and kids because they are bright, water resistant, and able to float. The light attaches to a dog collar, key chain, etc.A $25oo value” more details
To enter just leave a comment telling what your favorite dog-human outdoor activity is. Winner will be chosen in a random drawing. Contest ends March 18, midnight PDT. Open to U.S. residents only. I will forward the winner’s mailing address to Two Knobby Tires and they will mail the prize to you.

My fave: getting to know all the other people and doggies (ok, mostly the doggies) at the dog park.
Donovan's fave: Ha ha! Mommy can't catch me -- I don't have to go back inside!
Masha's fave: Ha ha! Mommy can't catch me -- I don't have to go back inside! AND it's pouring rain! Wheeeee! Oh look -- MUD!
Vali's fave: Wonder if I can get back in the house by jumping OVER the back door? Huh. Nope. Gotta try again. Nope, not that time either. Third time's a charm...
Jared's fave: It MOVED! GET IT!!! (applies to toys, people, other animals, leaves, miniscule specks of dust, etc. Even more fun played inside where you can climb over the furniture.)
Really though, I think Vali would love these toys -- he's a huge fan of shiny/light-up things. His current favorite toy is a laser pointer. He knows exactly where the little red dot comes from too -- he comes over and sits his head next to the pointer where it's kept on the desk when he wants to play. Then he does the most pitiful whine you've ever heard come from an almost 100lb dog. And he'll KEEP whining. Until someone turns the red dot on. Even if that's two days from now.

Abigail & Emily love to go down to the river for their daily walk with me and my Dad and his dog Tot. It's only about 3/4 mile from the house, and when its warm outside, they get to ride down there in the back of my pickup truck. Emily gets so excited. She mounts Abigail, and does the little "sir hump alot" dance! It's kind of embarrasing when I pull up to a stop sign and see people pointing at the back of my truck and laughing! But ,hey? what ever makes her happy and Abigail doesn't seem to mind?

Not fair, I never get to win any contests. It's anti non-American persecution I tell you;)
I understand, postage and all that. Anyway, you can't beat throwing a Pine Cone and then ripping it to bits. It seems to be Faye's favourite thing anyway!!!

My grandaughter age 7 has a mixed breed black lab. She is the best dog in the world for the girl and they love each other so much. I like to walk with the two of them and watch the relationship they have, my grandaughter talks to Tillie like she is a girl friend.

Short, random road trips. New places to walk, new people to bark at, new things to sniff. Then back home in plenty of time for dinner.

Penelope used to love to lay in the tall grass an be brushed (and sniffing for deer poop), but her favorite thing of all was riding shotgun with the window down....When she goes out now, she looks longingly at the car and then continues on using 3 legs. Violet.....aka schitzo-chic and Violent...loves to play fetch with a stick. If she can't find it, she will systematically walk the yard....all 2acres of grass....until she finds it.

I eat, breathe and sleep frisbees. Some might say I am obsessed with them but everyone has to have a passion and mine is frisbees. Not to brag but I am KIND OF A BIG DEAL when it comes to frisbees. I haven't missed playing frisbees one day of my life after I was introduced to them at the ripe age of 4 months old.Favorate toy/hobby/passion and reason to live: FRISBEE Some things in life are simple!!!

My dog Sam likes to sniff when he's outside. I think that is a boring activity tho.

My dog likes to lie in the sun. Maybe not an activity, but she rolls over to warm up all her parts.
