Are you tired of calendars with majestic mountains, gorgeous flowers, fantastic seascapes, or adorable puppies and kittens?
Longing to see tastefully photographed dog poop when you check to see what day it is?
I found this on Three Dog Blog and none of us is quite sure what to make of it. Who would buy it? Would you give it to someone you like? Or don't like?
”Monthly Doos—The 2009 dog poop calendar” is apparently a parody of classic scenic calendars that have become a pop culture cliché. Along with the lovely scenes, according to their website, “the photocraps [are] so beautiful you can almost smell them.”
We would want to smell photocraps because…?
Also included are fun facts and stories about doggie doodoo and portraits of the dogs that produced them. I guess anything that might make us smile as we watch the days pass by can’t be all bad. After all “Everything is dootiful in its own way.”
Ka-ching
You can order it from Jake’s Dog House.

I'm usually a fan of parody type of stuff.....but this one just doesn't do it for me...I see enough dog poop on a daily basis, I don't need it hanging from my wall.

It's not for me either. Our German Shepherd makes sure we get our daily ration of dog poop at home.
Anything for a buck types will market any old crap.

Okay, I love dogs but I think I draw the line with their poop. Nothing about it fascinates me in anyway. I can't believe I even pick it up on daily walks with them in the cute little poop bags I have to carry. Mary Jo

I'm not sure I'd buy one for myself, but I can think of a few people that it would make the perfect gift for. Including the woman that lets her dog crap right in front of my doorway and never cleans it up.

Oh yeah......my co-worker/boss brings one of those in every year for our office bathroom calendar! I hope he got us one for 2009!
Hey.......now google " groom of the stool " !!!!! I think I'd rather follow the royal pooch around the court yard with a pooper scooper!!!!!!!

Haha, that is just so weird. I could see myself buying this for someone as a joke.

I see enough doggy poo in my yard ... no need to see it on a calender. :-)
