There’s not much to add about this courageous little dog, except to point out that he is a Pit Bull.
Thanks, Denny

Where are all those so-called do-gooders who are hating on pitbulls now??? They are great dogs if they are treated right.

I never had any contact with Pits until my sister & brother in law fell in love with & adopted what the shelter called a pit bull mix. Turns out Pumpkin loves Elke, our German Shepherd, and so we babysit Pumpkin whenever they go out of town because we don't want Pumpkin put in a kennel when we have a perfectly good home. Pumpkin is a sweetie. She is a cool little dog that we have come to love her as our own. OK, she digs holes, but we can live with that.

I think people tend to forget that Pitbulls weren't bred for attacking... they were bred to defend. The scum who use them as fighting dogs have to train them to attack based on the Pits inbred desire to defend. This dog obviously reverted to its "defend at all cost" mode. Great story.....

Wow, I've missed alot. I just have to go AWOL from time to time.
I'm with Matt "Where are all those so-called do-gooders who are hating on pitbulls now???"
I've been attacked by a pitbull before and it could have just as easily been a German Shepard, or a Chow, or a Doberman......the list goes on! I don't blame the dog or the breed! I blame the human!
The poor Pitbulls don't seem to get any recognition for their loyalty and heroism?
My neighbor across the street has the sweetest Pitbull ever, she's so sweet her name is "Sugar"! She was resued from a crazy woman who had over 30 kennels with half starved Pits in all of them. They even cut her vocal chords? Poor thing can't even bark.
Sugar is just now learning how to be a dog, regaining her strength and motor skills.

What a great story! I'm glad Dboy has such a hard head.
Whenever I hear people bashing pitbulls I tell them about a pitbull I knew as a kid. A friend had a pitbull and we would lay on her and play with her with no fears of being hurt at all.
